Invested in Burlington, Invested in you

About Me

I grew up in Oakville but started high school in Burlington at Assumption. Through the years I have moved around for work but have been living in Burlington for the last 17 years.

Outside of my work career, I have been involved with local hockey for over 20 years. From coaching, volunteering, convening, officiating and playing. I currently referee Burlington rep hockey and Adult Recreation Hockey League at Mr. Lube & Tires Arena

Education

  • University of Guelph - Bachelor of Arts
  • Sheridan College - 3 year Business Administration

Work Experience

I have held many positions working within many industries. From being VP of Sales, Director of Operations, Senior Account Management. I have worked in a wide range of industries, including automotive, banking, business equipment (copiers/printers), factory supplies, quality management systems and IT software - Data & Business Intelligence. Also when attending university worked for Oakville transit and Oakville Parks & Recreation.

Work Experience Applied

Over my career, I have managed many large-scale projects (million dollar plus) and oversaw dozens of employees and consultants. With my leadership experience, I will work with council on many initiatives. I will prioritize polices 1 & 2. We need to get a program moving forward for the homeless and I will have the Burlington business network for local talent set up on the city website by early summer. I will also follow through with my initiatives on getting more business for our local business community via tradeshows and business development. Burlington council and myself will meet the new appointed chair of Halton and we will start formulating plans to fix the development challenges we have been experiencing with the current mayor.
